The Karl-Johan table lamp by New Works plays with a combination of a robust base and an oval-shaped opal glass dome. Designer Signe Hytte found the inspiration for the soft curves of Karl-Johan while searching for wild mushrooms in an autumn forest. And yes, one has to admit that the shape of the lamp undeniably brings to mind a mushroom. The poetic appearance and gentle light of Karl-Johan will complement any bedroom or add an elegant touch to the living room – but there’s no need to choose the final location, as the cordless luminaire can be easily moved with you from room to room! The battery will last for up to 22 hours on a single charge.
